Upleveled Industries was founded by longtime friends Peter and Nick, who've both seen the toll bottlenecks and pressure take on teams and owners alike. With Peter's deep stone-industry expertise and Nick's systems leadership from Microsoft, we're here to transform stone businesses — and free the lives behind them.
A Friendship Forged 25 Years Ago
Even though their careers took very different paths, Peter and Nick kept seeing the same story repeat itself: teams under relentless pressure, bottlenecks that slowed progress, costly mistakes that drained margins, and stress that followed people home. Both came to the same conclusion: without systems and guidance, the weight eventually breaks people and businesses alike.
Pete and Nick have known each other for over 25 years — long before Upleveled Industries. That trust, built on family ties and Midwestern values where your word matters, still shapes how they work today and is why they decided to join forces.
Pete brings deep industry credibility — from building one of the first fully automated stone shops in Florida, to advising over a thousand fabricators, to earning the trust of industry leaders. Nick brings two decades of experience from Microsoft, where he built a reputation for turning complexity into clarity, drove strategy and innovation, and lead with a people-first philosophy.
Together, they founded Upleveled Industries with the purpose, “To transform stone businesses — and free the lives behind them”. Two different paths, one mission: to take the pressure off fabricators so their shops run smoother, their people thrive, and owners can finally breathe easier.
